Submissions available for this section
All stakes available for creative tasks are through submissions and these are tools to use and inspire those submissions. Each of our properties has its own specific needs for video work that fall under the following two categories, and can be found HERE!
Video Submissions
YouTube has a number of requirements for videos, including:
Content ownership: You should not upload videos that you didn’t make, or use content in your videos that someone else owns the copyright to. Â
Resolution: YouTube prefers high-definition videos, and recommends a resolution of at least 1280 x 720 for a 16:9 aspect ratio, or 640 x 480 for a 4:3 aspect ratio. For videos intended for sale or rental, the minimum resolution is 1920 x 1080 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Â
Bitrate: There is no recommended minimum bitrate, but videos should be optimized for frame rate, aspect ratio, and resolution. Common bit rates for videos intended for sale or rental are 50 or 80 Mbps. Â
File size: The maximum file size is 256 GB or 12 hours, whichever is less. Â
Video length: The maximum video length is 12 hours for verified accounts and 15 minutes for unverified accounts. Â
Frame rate: The recommended frame rate is 24, 25, or 30 fps. Â
Format: Recommended formats include .MPG (MPEG-2 or MPEG-4), .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .FLV. Â

Interactive Video
H5P Group
Add interactivity to your video with explanations, extra pictures, tables, Fill in the Blank and multiple choice questions. Quiz questions support adaptivity, meaning that you can jump to another part of the video based on the user’s input. Interactive summaries can be added at the end of the video. Interactive videos are created and edited using the H5P authoring tool in a standard web browser.
