On June 21st/22nd, we have the Strawberry Full Moon at 1 degrees of Capricorn. Full Moons bring all the feels to the surface with an intense momentum of energy. They represent endings, manifestations and culmination. Capricorn, the 10th zodiac sign, deals with obligations, hard work, achievement, success and responsibility. 

The Strawberry Full Moon in Capricorn is here to bring forth massive success and achievement into our lives. No other sign is as focused on “taking care of biz” like a determined Capricorn. This lunation is tied to success and to feeling a sense of accomplishment + victory. It is time to see projects and plans come to fruition. Some of these could have been stalled or just in a state of limbo. The Full Moon in the sign of the mountain goat is here to show us that all of our previous hard work and sacrifices weren’t in vain or forgotten. The moon feels pretty out of place in the sign of Capricorn as the sign deals with work and achievement while Cancer deals with home and nourishment. We could feel kind of cut off or detached emotionally with this practical full moon. An air of “get over your shit” will be common and the lesson here is to not repress our emotions but to find a place of wisdom and growth within such deeper feelings. 

The Full Moon in Capricorn is also happening around the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere and the Winter Solstice in the southern hemisphere. Solstice time is ripe with manifestation energy and intention. It is time to prepare ourselves for another season of change and initiation. Spending time in nature and being connected to her radiant life force energy is recommended. 

The Full Moon in Capricorn will be making an interesting opposition (180 degree aspect) to Venus, the planet of love, affection and comfort who is in the sign of Cancer. The Full Moon opposing Venus could lead to power struggles between our external need to be validated vs. our internal sensitivity. Balancing work vs. home duties could be rather tricky. It is important that we recognize the need for achievement but also the time to decompress and spend time with our deeper emotions. 

For those with their Sun, Moon or Ascendant signs on or close to 1 degree of Capricorn or the other Cardinal signs of: Cancer and Libra will be most impacted by this ambitious full moon.
