On August 19th, we have the “Blue” Full Moon at 27 degrees of Aquarius. Full moons are highly emotional as they bring all of our feelings to the surface to be faced and acknowledged. Blue Moons occur when we have 2 full moons in a 30 day cycle. They represent manifestation, endings and culminations to the EXTREME. Aquarius, the 11th zodiac sign, deals with individuality, humanitarian efforts, friendship, invention and detachment. 

The Blue Full Moon in Aquarius is here to bring forth lots of independence + freedom. There is major activation from this Full Moon to break free of anything or anyone that is suppressing your heart’s true desires + sense of self. Many folks could all of a sudden end relationships or situations that aren’t bringing them a sense of fulfillment. Since the fixed sign energy is so strong with this lunation, whatever gets decided now will probably remain and not be altered. The first will be an exact square to Uranus, the planet of change, liberation and shake ups, who is currently in the sign of Taurus. The Full Moon in an exact square aspect to Uranus will add the element of the unpredictable to this lunation. Uranus is the modern ruler of the sign of Aquarius so these freedom seeking vibes will be strong asf! Sudden shifts and lots of unpredictable events could happen. I expect to see all kinds of wild weather patterns, earthquakes, tsunami’s, etc with these two coming together. Be cautious around making sudden breaks from situations. While some space and distance could be a good idea, be careful about making “forever” decisions now as the energy is intense and unstable. The second aspect will be an opposition to retrograde Mercury, the planet of the mind, communication and business, who is now back in the sign of Leo. The Full Moon in opposition to Mercury could add all kinds of communication drama to the mix of this already highly charged full moon. Expect lots of ego trips and folks wanting to exert their opinions as facts with this aspect. The higher vibration of this Full Moon will be our ability to break free of any restricting circumstances and release any blocks standing in the way to our authentic selves. The lower vibration of this Full Moon will be lots of drama and finalities connected to certain folks exerting their dominance or power structures upon us.
